Pedigree Canned...Formulated by Waltham UK (Formulator for Pedigree, Whiska's, Cesar, Sheba, Aquarian, Exelpet)

Well the first indicator of a massive manufacturer using labeling regulations to deceive people is the use of the labeling "Qualifier"..."With" Lamb & Rice. Using the Word "With" before the specified ingredient means that there must be "some" lamb and rice present in the product. Any part of a lamb can be included, including ear, intestine or hoof. Brewers rice is their choice of rice...the by-product of rice milling. In fact there is nothing other than the supplements in the can other than by-products.

The can and label cost them more than the food.

Meat Broth, Meat By-Products, Poultry By-Products, Poultry, Chicken, Lamb, Brewers Rice, Dried Egg Product, Dried Tomato Pomace, Vegetable Oil (source of Linoleic Acid), Dried Chicory Pulp (source of soluble fiber), Natural Flavors, Dried Yam, Trace Minerals (Potassium Chloride, Zinc Sulfate, Calcium Carbonate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Copper Sulfate, Potassium Iodide), Carrageenan, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Taurine*, Vitamins (dl-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate (Source of Vitamin E), L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Source of Vitamin C*), d-Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A & D Supplements, Thiamine Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Biotin), Xanthan Gum, Marigold Meal (Source of Lutein*), Sodium Nitrite (for color retention).

To add to what Jfrey already said, "with" on a pet food label means that only 3% of the food is required to have whatever ingredient it's talking about in it. 3%!!!
