Well we have a new kitty that adopted us. A little black female. Looks to be less than a year old. She has had kittens recently but not so recently that there are still kittens around. No milk but her nipples are still hard. She was living under our proch and I was feeding her but hubby let her in last Sunday and she has never left. Need to get her fixed. Thankful my two boys have been fixed so there is no danger of more babies unless she is already pregnant which I guess is a possibility. Haven't named her yet, still trying to find her a home so I am not attached enough to name her, I just couldn't stand to see her out in the cold so once hubby let her in I couldn't throw her out. Believe me, I tried. I made her a bed outside and gave her a big bowl of food and water and put her back out. I kept checking on her cuz I was worried about her and the last time I opened the door to check, she ran in and that was the end of that. Will keep you posted on what happens with her. Everyone have a Merry Christmas.

How is the new kitty doing? Have you named her? Since you went through all that, I would have kept her....what a little 'Angel'

She is stilll here but still has no name. I just call her little kitty which will probably be her name. Rusty and Lucky are finally starting to warm up to her. I still have to watch her when I feed them because she scarfs her food down and wants theirs so I have to make sure the boys get to eat. Other than that, everything is fine with her. I need to get her fixed at some point but with no job right now I will have to wait a while. Thanks for asking.

Aww, she's a hungry kitty. If she's eating so much, it could be she's pregos again.
Darla was like that, was always hungry, and we trained her to eat from her own dish. Actually all our cats 'know' which dish to eat from. Darla and Jack know their names, and the word EAT. So when it's time to eat, they go to their respective dishes. After their done, they help them selves out of the other dishes the rest of the day lol. For awhile I would seperate the cats, so they felt 'all' the food in their dish was theirs, and would control their gulping down too fast. |

Yea, I thought about that, her being pregnant again. Hope not but if she is there isn't much I can do about it. She is getting better about just eating her food and not bothering the boys but I still kind of watch just in case. the boys are overweight so it wouldn't kill them to miss a meal, but I try to keep the peace brtween all of them.

Not surprised you took her in...you are a very kind person, which we all know that!
bless you. -------------------- Last one out of the circus has to lock up everything, or the elephants will get out and forget to remember what you said.

Well the kitties name is Jasmine. Hubby named her. We had her spayed yesterday and she is doing great. Almost back to her normal self this morning. I had an opportunity to give her to an elderly lady who wanted a lap kitty but decided to keep her. We had already had her for a month by the time the lady decided and by then I was attached. I considered it for a day then realized I just couldn't give her up. So she is here to stay. Cat Welfare has a program where they help you to get them spayed if you can't afford it. I have been out of work for over 2 yrs. so I only had to pay 20.00, a ten dollar app. fee and 10 dollar spay fee, plus they gave her a rabies shot.

I am just a sucker for a sweet little kitty face. I have a sign on my door that hs a picture of a cat and says "strays welcome", guess she figured she would take me up on the offer.
